HOW AN ANSWER IS MADE

Watt to Pack is an independent reference based on published manufacturer documents. We compare electrical specifications, not hands-on performance tests. We do not claim to have physically tested these products or certified their safety.

Start with identity

A product name may span several generations and electrical markets. We retain exact model codes and require you to match the code and market on your tool. Buying a tool in a country does not prove its electrical version if it was imported.

Separate facts from assumptions

Each electrical fact links to its source. Manuals and labels for the exact regional model take priority over general marketing copy. A missing frequency, unclear plug construction or conflicting voltage rating prevents a positive answer. We preserve separate voltage bands instead of filling the gap between them.

Compare with the destination

The checker compares all listed destination voltages and frequencies with the model’s documented ratings. Matching electrical values still leaves conditions: your adapter must fit, carry the load and preserve the tool’s protective features. Country socket lists do not describe every outlet.

Keep evidence current

Model pages show when their evidence was reviewed and when it is due for another check. Overdue or changed supporting evidence prevents a current use verdict. A page being reachable does not establish that its specifications are unchanged. Your own label and current manufacturer instructions remain essential.

Commercial independence

Electrical decisions use the same rules regardless of whether a product can earn commission. Amazon links carry an adjacent paid-link disclosure. Ordinary manufacturer links earn no commission. Retail listings are matched to the researched model before linking. We do not invent ratings, reviews or certification claims.
